Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) is one of the largest Universities in Estonia, providing interdisciplinary higher education in engineering, natural, health and social sciences. Innovation and technology policy are an important constituent part of contemporary education in the above areas. TUT has about 50 bilateral cooperation agreements with foreign universities, about 14,500 students (10% are postgraduate students) and 1100 academic staff. TUT offers diploma, bachelor, master and doctorate programs. TUT is organized into 8 faculties and 8 affiliated institutions. E-learning and multimedia courses in 21 international study programs has considerably increased foreign student and staff exchange. Each faculty and department within TUT maintains a number of international research contacts and is involved in international educational projects in their respective subject areas. Strategic partnership for TUT is focusing to the Baltic Sea Region, Silicon Valley and Shanghai.
