Visited AUA, Athense as visiting Faculty Developed a research project in collaboration with Prof. Andreas Voludakis on "development of sterlity mosaic virus resistant pigeon pea using RNAi technology" . Another Indian partner Dr B Patil from NRCPB, New Delhi was also involved in the project. The project was initiated with a visit by Dr Patil to AUA and necessary gene constructs were made. During my visit, I have also initiated dialougue for a dual degree programme between AAU, India and AUA, Greece for Master degree students. All necessary documents from AAU were submitted. Currently we are working on an MOU to be signed between two universities which has already been approved by the AAU authority. |
