Dear Staff member,
Dear potential participant under BRAVE,

BRAVE provides funding to:
- Indian academic staff members in the study areas: Plant Virology, Plant Breeding and related fields such as plant biochemistry, plant bioinformatics, structural biology etc;
- Indian administrative staff members for work in the EU Universiites involved in BRAVE.

In general, Academic/Administrative staff mobilities should:
- Promote the implementation of new cooperation activities such as bilateral agreements for mobility implementation;
- Prepare future colaborative projects between partner institutions;

- Discuss the possibility to implement tools to allow a more dynamic academic structure of Indian HEIs;
- Discuss the local management and organizational structures, namely International Offices, Libraries, Academic Services, etc.;
- Contribute to the strengthening of the international cooperation capacity of EU and Indian HEIs involved in the partnership;
- Allow progresses in the application of ECTS or other systems of study recognition between partner institutions.

More specifically, the academic staff mobilitiy should:

- Extend links between departments and faculties at research and teaching levels;
- Ensure that the visiting academic staff will actively participate in the teaching/reearch at the host institution;

- Discuss the possibility to develop joint curricula (eg. creation of double or joint degrees);
- Exchange experiences in teaching methods;
- Stimulate joint teaching activities, namely PhD thesis co-supervision(s), joint supervision of master/PhD thesis;
- Discuss research activities that may evolve in joint research projects.

In the case of administrative staff mobilitiy should:
- Strengthen the management capacity of the institutions involved in the mobility;
- Assist the development or strengthening of the international cooperation in partner institutions;
- Identify good-practices in the management of international cooperation programmes;
- Discuss the development of international offices, academic services, financial departments and other management structures in partner institutions.

All Indian academic staff members interested to obtain financial support under BRAVE need to contact the Principle Investigator with whome they would like to work with.
All Indian adminstrative staff members interested to obtain financial support under BRAVE need to contact the BRAVE representative of the European University they would like to perform their work stay (see section CONTACT in this web page).

JNU: Jawaharlal Nehru University
AAU: Assam Agricultural University
UDelSC: Uviversty of Delhi South Campus
RAU: Rajendra Aricultural University
SVU: Sri Venkateswara University
TG1: Academic or administrative staff of one of the Indian partner Universities within BRAVE partnership.
TG2: Academic or administrative staff who work in a Higher Education Institution (University) in India that is not included in the BRAVE partnership.
TG3: Academic or administrative staff who work in particularly vulnerable situations, for social and political reasons.
